We are seeking an enthusiastic Consultant in Adult Psychiatry to work full time hours per week for our NHS client based in Sheffield Yorkshire. This is a CMHT role. This vacancy is available on a locum basis for the successful candidate to start immediately for a shortterm contract.

What will your responsibilities be

As a Consultant in Adult Psychiatry your key responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive psychiatric assessments. You will evaluate adults to understand their mental health challenges considering their personal history and symptoms. Based on these assessments you will formulate individualised treatment plans tailored to each persons needs and goals.

You will lead a multidisciplinary team collaborating with various healthcare professionals to deliver highquality personcentred care. Your role will also involve overseeing therapeutic interventions including medication management and crisis interventions.

You will be responsible for regularly monitoring and evaluating the progress of individuals. You will adjust treatment plans as needed to optimise care. Additionally you will contribute to risk assessments and management strategies ensuring the safety and wellbeing of those in your care. This role requires both clinical expertise and a compassionate approach.

Qualifications and Experiences:

  • You must have a full GMC license to practice.
  • Section 12.
  • Approved Clinician Status.
  • This role requires the candidate to have previous experience.
