This role is crucial in fostering an inclusive environment that empowers our students to thrive both academically and personally.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide tailored support to enhance students' academic, social, and emotional development.Assist with daily activities, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment for all learners.Promote the importance of consistent exercise and healthy eating.Collaborate closely with teachers and other support staff to implement individualised education plans (IEPs).Help manage challenging behaviours by employing positive reinforcement techniques.Encourage student independence and self-advocacy through skill-building activities.Candidate RequirementsExperience working with individuals with special educational needs, preferably in an educational setting.A genuine passion for supporting young people and a commitment to their personal development.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with students, staff, and families.A proactive approach to overcoming challenges and adapting to students' diverse needs.Current safeguarding training is highly desirable.To Be Eligible for This Role You Must:Hold the right to work in the UK.Have an enhanced child barred list DBS certificate registered with the online update service or be willing to process a new application.Provide two references covering the last two years.If you are passionate about making a difference in the lives of young people, please upload your CV via the application page or contact Josh at LTF Recruitment directly.
