DescriptionWe have an exciting and rewarding opportunity for you to take your software engineering career to the next level.As a Software Engineer III at JPMorgan Chase within the Public Cloud Engineering organization you play a crucial role in an agile team focused on enhancing the adoption and use of public cloud services throughout the company. Your position is pivotal in promoting substantial business impact by applying your extensive technical knowledge and problem-solving skills to tackle diverse challenges across multiple technologies and applications.Job responsibilitiesExecutes software solutions design development and technical troubleshooting with ability to think beyond routine or conventional approaches to build solutions or break down technical problemsCreates secure and high-quality production code and maintains algorithms that run synchronously with appropriate systemsProduces architecture and design artifacts for complex applications while being accountable for ensuring design constraints are met by software code developmentGathers analyzes synthesizes and develops visualizations and reporting from large diverse data sets in service of continuous improvement of software applications and systemsProactively identifies hidden problems and patterns in data and uses these insights to drive improvements to coding hygiene and system architectureContributes to software engineering communities of practice and events that explore new and emerging technologiesAdds to team culture of diversity opportunity inclusion and respectRequired qualifications capabilities and skillsFormal training or certification on cloud engineering concepts and proficient applied experiencePractical experience with at least one public cloud (Google Cloud Platform Amazon Web Services)Hands-on practical experience in system design application development testing and operational stabilityProficient in coding in one or more languages: Python Java GolangExperience in developing debugging and maintaining code in a large corporate environment with one or more modern programming languages and database querying languagesOverall knowledge of the Software Development Life CycleSolid understanding of agile methodologies such as CI/CD Application Resiliency and SecurityPreferred qualifications capabilities and skillsHands-on practical experience with Infrastructure As Code tooling (Terraform CloudFormation)Practical cloud native experience including containerizationRelevant public cloud certificationsExperience using observability platforms on public cloud (GCP Cloud Logging GCP Cloud Monitoring AWS CloudWatch) Key Skills Spring,.NET,C/C++,Go,React,OOP,C#,Data Structures,JavaScript,Software Development,Java,Distributed Systems Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1
