We are looking for a new operator to take on one of our new acquisitions. The Pheasant in Welshpool is an amazing community hub. With it's spacious beer garden and amazing location, it has a solid foundation. The refurbishment that is currently underway will definitely elevate the experience, especially with the addition of a darts board and bar games to encourage a fun, interactive atmosphere with local music.We are looking for someone who has:

  • Strong business acumen that understands the balance of growing sales and controlling costs
  • Experience of running own site.
  • Local knowledge of Welshpool and surrounding areas
  • Good knowledge of HR/ Payroll
As a self-employed partner of Valiant, you recruit, develop and manage your own team. We agree a pub business plan with you to maximise sales and profit. In return, you are rewarded with an uncapped percentage of turnover. In the majority of our pubs you also benefit from living accommodation with your utilities paid by us.
