Vehicle Technician / MOT Tester From 36000 per annum DOE Caerphilly Gwent About the Role The successful candidate will step right into a hands-on garage setting testing vehicles diagnosing faults and executing repairs. Youll be the one who sorts MOTs and keeps them ticking over smoothly all while respecting manufacturer standards for every taskfrom brakes and diagnostics to exhausts and servicing. Youll be more than a technician; youll be a trusted face in the workshop ensuring each vehicle leaves reliably road-worthy. Theyre AA-certified and part of the AutoCare network known for delivering work thats honest dependable and backed by guarantees. Customers arent just a numbertheyre greeted like neighbours. No weekends Key Duties Conduct MOT tests with meticulous attention.Diagnose mechanical or electrical faults.Perform servicing and repairs in line with manufacturer specs.Communicate clearly with customersexplain work give updates manage expectations.Keep track of paperwork and test results uphold AA and AutoCare standards.Occasionally assist with customer pickup/delivery arrangements or courtesy car logistics.
