***12 Months Of HGV Class 2 Driving Experience Required***

Location: Cannock WS9 8TP

Working Hours:

  • Ad Hoc - Temprary Shifts Available

Pay Rate:

  • £15.12 P/hr

About this role:

  • Safely operating an articulated tipper truck. 
  • Ensure the truck is loaded and unloaded correctly, balancing the load as required.
  • Transport a variety of bulk materials, such as aggregates, sand and gravel.
  • Ensure materials are properly secured and covered as necessary.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, reporting any defects or maintenance needs to ensure roadworthiness
  • Maintain accurate records of deliveries, logbooks, and other necessary paperwork in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to health and safety regulations.

About You:

  • You should hold a valid HGV 2/C+E Licence and have a minimum of 12 months Tipper driving experience. 
  • No more than 6 points no DD/ DR Code convictions
  • Hold a current valid DCPC & Tacho cards
  • Understand and able to comply with Driver’s hours and WTD legislation
  • Able to understand and carry out necessary vehicle checks to ensure vehicle safety and able to report defects correctly
  • Should comply with on-site health and safety requirements
  • Excellent communication skills
