A Shropshire based food manufacture are looking to recruit a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer (with strong electrical skills) for their production facility based in North Shropshire.As a multi skilled Maintenance Engineer you will provide engineering support to the production area and be responsible for reactive and proactive maintenance of plant, equipment, and any auxiliary systems.Role:Electrically biased Maintenance Engineer4 on / 4 off Days and Nights (7am/pm to 7pm/am) (one week days, one week nights)Opportunity to work in a modern food process manufacturerBenefits:c£48k + paid overtimeAuto enrolment pension scheme (combined 8% contribution)Onsite free parkingStaff shop discountsKey responsibilities of Maintenance Engineer:Assist team to work towards maximum plant and equipment efficiency so downtime is minimisedEnsure planned engineering tasks are delivered on time and in fullEnsure good repair / manufacturing practices and procedures are followedEnsure completion of planned maintenance documents / CMMSWork closely with production staff to achieve daily targetsContribute to cost reduction initiatives to drive efficiency and process improvementsExperience and skills required:Qualified maintenance engineer with C&G’s or NVQ Level 3 or ideally ONC / HNC levelMulti skilled, strong electrical skills / experienceApprenticeship trainedProactive attitude to solving issues and supporting productionFood manufacturing experience would be very desirableKnowledge of servo drives and inverters PLC knowledge would be advantageousTo applyIf you are an experienced multi skilled electrically biased Maintenance Engineer looking for a new challenge at a great company please apply by sending your CV, or if you need further information please contact Stuart Cooper on:(phone number removed)mail: (url removed)(url removed)Wagstaff Recruitment – Building Trusted Relationships to Create Great Opportunities
