ABOUT THE COMPANY:

Our client is a high-growth and ambitious PE-backed group of service companies. Having secured investment in late 2023, they have doubled their forecasted revenue goals and have highly ambitious plans to treble that further.

As such, they are investing into their finance team to enable the continued growth resulting in this newly created Finance Manager vacancy.


THE OPPORTUNITY:

Due to the exciting growth and demand on the finance function as a result, they have created a brand-new role that will play a critical role in the development of the team.

Working with the CFO and Group FC, the Finance Manager will support the delivery of robust financial information from across the portfolio in addition to developing the function to partner with the key stakeholders.


Key duties of the role will include:

  • Supervision of a small finance team with full P&L and balance sheet responsibility
  • Management accounts production with analysis and commentary to present to senior management and responding to any queries
  • Full Balance sheet reconciliations of all accounts on a monthly basis
  • Banking, processing payments in addition to weekly cash reporting
  • Payroll journals and reconciliations of accounts to payroll reports
  • Assisting with budgeting and forecasting
  • Consolidation of group accounts for different regions including year-end/ statutory accounts
  • Assisting with integration of new acquisitions into the business – ensuring processes are standardised
  • Improving processes, procedures – continuous improvement minded
  • Providing ad-hoc support with post acquisition accounting and integration


THE CANDIDATE:

This is a unique Finance Manager opportunity to join a high-growth organisation at a pivotal time in their growth journey. The role will have direct exposure to the CFO and leadership team and will provide an outstanding platform for career development. The successful candidate will ideally:

  • Be a Fully Qualified ACA/ ACCA/ ACMA
  • Have a track record of strong stakeholder management
  • Show good communication skills
  • Possess excellent Excel knowledge and capability
  • Demonstrate drive and ambition (huge growth forecast)


OFFER:

In addition to unrivalled exposure to key business stakeholders and processes, you will also receive:

  • £50-55,000 (depending on experience)
