Service Engineer - Security Systems (CCTV Intruder Alarm Access Control)Location: EssexSalary: Competitive in Industry Uncapped Engineer commission schemeTrinity are hiring a Service Engineer to join our dedicated team in the role you will be providing maintenance and servicing of our clients Security systems.As a Service Engineer at Trinity you will have the opportunity to obtain industry leading training and earn through our engineering commission schemeThe role of Service EngineerYou will be working as part of a skilled team of Service Engineers and will be supported by our wider support departments to provide high quality service and customer experience.The key tasks include the following:Carry out all other necessary works required at customer premises in accordance with the Companys quality standards.Effectively communicate with customers to ensure a good understanding of system and site status.Liaise with service administrators and other internal stakeholders to ensure our service commitments are met.Work to a planned service and maintenance schedule emergency call out requirements. Issue remedial repairs and minor additions to existing installations in line with service administration guidance.The systems you will work with at TrinityCCTV - HikVision Dahua AvigilonAccess Control - Paxton Gallagher NEDAPIntruder Alarm - Galaxy Texecom ScantronicWe are committed to supporting and developing our employees so if you are interested in the role please still apply even if your current experience doesnt match the Desirables above.What skills do you needExperience in servicing and maintaining security systems to relevant British Standards.Ability to identify all types of cable associated with security systems and to correctly test and terminate the cable ends in accordance with manufacturers instructions.A logical approach to system fault diagnosis and rectification.To always provide outstanding customer service.Excellent verbal and written communication.What technical knowledge do you needUnderstand the basic building services to test cause and effect of security system interfaces.A comprehensive understanding of the causes and cures of security system problems including an ability to recommend changes to practices and processes that may cause false alarms as well as recommending changes to the systems.Basic Electrical Safety training (ECA).What will Trinity give youAt Trinity Fire & Security we believe in rewarding our employees for their work and commitment.
