Shifts• Various start times and shifts available Rates of Pay• £17.00 – £18.50 per hour Benefits• Weekly pay• Excellent rates of pay• Weekend working available• Overtime available• Training and development• On-site canteen facilities• Free on-site parking• Access to Employee Assistance Programme• Employee recognition scheme• Employee referral programme Day-to-Day Duties• Trunking depot to depot (curtain-sider work)• Safely operate HGV Class 1 (C+E) vehicles• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections• Ensure all loads are correctly secured• Adhere to traffic laws and company procedures• Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers• Report any vehicle defects or maintenance requirements• Assist with loading and unloading when required Essential Skills• Valid UK Category C+E (Class 1) Licence• Minimum of 12 months' experience driving C+E vehicles• Maximum of six penalty points for minor infringements (no major endorsements)• Valid UK CPC Card and Digital Tachograph Card• Good level of spoken and written English• Excellent punctuality and time-keeping• Strong understanding of traffic laws and regulations• Effective communication skills Desirable Experience• Experience driving other commercial vehicles• Previous multi-drop delivery experience Training Provided• Full industry-related training and ongoing support throughout ApplyIf you're ready to take on this excellent opportunity as an HGV Class 1 Driver, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team for further information.
