My client is a well-known sports betting and gambling company with international reach.


They are seeking to appoint a Paralegal to provide legal and admin support their Payments Legal Team on a 6-month fixed term contract.


Key responsibilities:

  • support to internal stakeholders, assisting with project management and administrative tasks.
  • Support the Payments Team with contract reviews and analysis.
  • Update the payments contracts database and ensure that all documents are properly filed and up to date.
  • Conduct legal research on regulatory developments impacting payment platforms; proactively monitor and review legislation in order to help ensure accurate and up-to-date inventories of all legal obligations.


The ideal candidate:

  • Excellent academic credentials, law degree preferable
  • Minimum of 2 years’ previous experience working as a paralegal at a law firm or in-house. Either commercial or payments experience preferred.
  • Legal research skills, including an understanding of legal databases such as Westlaw or Lexis-Nexis
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms, for example, ServiceNow
  • Previous project management experience
  • Excellent communication and written skills, enabling you to engage with stakeholders confidently.
  • Multi-tasking skills; effectively managing multiple tasks at the same time.
  • A keen eye for detail; the ability to review documents, ensuring accuracy and compliance with legal standards.
  • Administrative skills including creating and managing an effective filing system.
  • Excellent time management skills and the ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced, energetic team environment and successfully manage multiple deadlines.


The company offer great hybrid working, with a requirement to be in the office a minimum of 2 days each week.
