Working as part of the Test Team you will play a critical role in ensuring the success of our product and delivering excellent customer service.Overview of RoleThe Test and QA team are responsible for the successful performance of a variety of tasks which are required to test our products ensuring that they are effective. You will be reviewing the products against a strict product testing protocol taking accountability for the quality of tests and ensuring that all testing is completed to the required schedule. You will be involved in the testing of new products product adaptations and also testing as part of any necessary fault finding or investigations into product performance.You will produce and ensure test reports are fully completed and all results recorded along with relevant supporting evidence. You will support the wider team in the Test & QA function along with having responsibility for some of your own projects.You will be fully immersed in the business working on various different projects simultaneously and liaising with other areas of the business which will include the Commercial Teams Research and Development Production Customer Services and Account Managers.To be successful you will need to build a strong understanding of the companys full product portfolio and company products so that you can ensure that following testing all products meet their requirements. You will be required to understand test methodologies applicable to our business and products and develop a strong understanding of software development lifecycle and QA best practices.Who are you You may already have some relevant experience that is relevant which would include manual testing protocols SQL skills for back-end/data validation working with Jira for requirements and defect management programming skills or security testing or you will have an appreciation of these.You will be a proactive individual who can work both independently and as part of a team you will have a keen appetite for learning new skills with a detailed and analytical approach to your work.
