The company is a leading and established manufacturer of plastic parts and applications supplied to various industries such as automotive, aerospace, construction. Pertemps are recruiting on their behalf for a Project/Process Engineer for their operations in the Droitwich area. Salary - up to £40k per annum. The role is a Day shift from Monday to Friday. The project engineer role is responsible for managing the NPI lifecycle from initial design to the approval from the customer. The role will require manufacturing process to be of an efficient manner and ensure a high quality end product. The role will require to liaise closely with the tooling department, clients and internal teams. Responsibilities and duties are as follows;Analyse Engineering and CAD drawings data to ensure manufacturing process is correct and efficient and accurate tool design.Ensure tooling orders are compliant with project requirementsApproval of tool designs, ensuring alignment with product specification and cost effective.Manage toolmakers to ensure adherence to quality and timeline expectations through the entire process.Resolve any manufacturing issues with tooling team and suppliers.Refine and amend any manufacturing process to optimise quality, cost and efficiency.Plan and oversee tooling trials.Prepare detailed documentation inc...
