DescriptionChildren Education and Justice ServicesEarly Years Domestic SupportMaybury Primary School Early Learning and ChildcareSalary: 25322 - 25623 (pro rata for part time)Hours 15 per week 52 weeks10.30am - 2.15pm Monday to ThursdayWe are looking to recruit Early Years Domestic Support to join our team who can bring energy enthusiasm flexibility and a passion for helping young children.Duties include setting the tables temperature checking and serving food maintaining a high standard of cleanliness in the kitchen clearing cleaning and sweeping up the dining areas washing all associated crockery and cutlery . Elementary Food Hygiene certificate is desirable but not essential as training can be given.Please see attached job profile for further information about the role.Maybury Primary School is a new school in the west of Edinburgh which opened in August 2024. In its first year the school had Primary One children and an early learning and childcare setting which opened in January August 2025 the school opened to all stages - P1 to P7. Within the school there are modern flexible and creative learning spaces for up to 630 learners along with our early learning and childcare setting which has a capacity for 110 children across a mix of term-time and full-year places.Maybury Primary School will be Edinburghs first school to share a campus with a medical centre as part of Maybury Community Hub. Sustainability and outdoor learning are central features of the building design and these will be brought to life as a key part of our learning experiences.For Further information please visit emailWithin our early years provision children may attend between the hours of 8.00am - 6.00pm 52 weeks of the year.We are a service-led organisation so we may change your hours of work and/or working arrangements to meet service requirements and commitments. Early years staff work across the early learning and childcare setting and the school.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
