Booth Welsh are looking to hire a QS for work in Ayrshire, long term contracting.4 days on site and 1 day at home.Good rates1 year + contract.Writing and controlling NEC4 contracts along with Project ManagersProvide and control strategy of commercial contacts with client’s representativesCommercial management of subcontractors including processing payments, obtaining final account agreements, and resolving disputed issues by negotiationMonitor the timely production of reliable cost performance data and initiate discussions concerning project performance and provide commercial input to project strategyProduce and present monthly / quarterly reportsBe responsible for change management including ensuring adherence to the programmeAttend and provide input to all site commercial meetings. Providing commercial advice to the site team, and management on all contractual issuesWorking on contracts from 100K up to 15mHave excellent communication skillsBe driven and self-motivatedProficient with NEC forms of ContractHave knowledge of other forms of ContractExperience in producing internal and external reportsDegree in Quantity Surveying (would look at work experience in place of degree)Understanding of contract law
