Excellent opportunity for WebSphere Application Server Admins to be part of our Cloud Infrastructure & Security services practice. Cognizant Infrastructure Services – Provides IT infrastructure & Cloud services for clients across industry verticals, including both Consulting/Professional and Managed Services, across Enterprise Computing, Cloud services, Security Services, DevOps, Data Centres, End User Computing, Service Desk, Network Services and Environment Management Services.
Key Responsibilities:
- IBM WebSphere, WebSphere Application Server WAS, WebSphere IHS, IIS, Apache, UNIX/Linux web servers, MQ Messaging provider.
- Install, configure, tune and support WebSphere and other middleware components Setup load balancing, clustering, and failover Develop automation tools for Password management, Monitoring, Configuration and Deployments.
- Analyse Performance and capacity reports and recommend tuning opportunities.
- BPM Monitoring tools/dashboards/scripts/IBM BPM Product Database knowledge.
- Set-up of application & ownership of environment.
- Deployment of custom code and data, Application maintenance and housekeeping
- Technical Shakedown, Project Support, Build and Configure, Back-up and restore
- Continuous Improvement, Report weekly metrics and manage timescales
- Environment user access management, Environment administration
- Review project inputs, Environment defect resolution (1st Level)
- Identification and escalation of risks and issues Set up and Action EMERald tasks for the deployment of Projects and maintenance of the EMER environments.
- Maintain the RACF groups for Testing Services
Key Skills and Experience :
- Good experience as WAS Admin
- Experience in IBM WebSphere, WebSphere Application Server (WAS), WebSphere IHS, IIS, Apache, UNIX/Linux web servers, MQ Messaging provider.
- Install, configure, tune and support WebSphere and other middleware components Setup load balancing, clustering, and failover Develop automation tools for Password management, Monitoring, Configuration and Deployments.
- Ability to analyse Performance and capacity reports and recommend tuning opportunities.
- Experience in BPM Monitoring tools/dashboards/scripts/IBM BPM Product Database knowledge.
- Familiar with UNIX/Linux RHEL 6.X or 7.X operating system utilities.
- Knowledge of at least one Web Server like Apache or IBM http server and it's integration with IBM BPM.
- Knowledge of IBM BPM 8.5.X/BAW Administration and WebSphere Administration.
- Shell Scripting and knowledge of Linux.
