CK Group are recruiting for 2x Maintenance Technicians to join a chemical company at their site based in Shildon on an initial 6-month contract. This is a 4on-4off shift role.The Company:Our client is a leading paint manufacturer. Their Shildon site produces technical paints and coatings for the aerospace industry.Salary: £20.00-£24.00 per hour (PAYE).Location:This role is located at our client's site in Shildon. Maintenance Technician Role:Your main duties will be:Carrying out preventative and reactive repairs in our client's manufacturing and distribution facility.Working on a variety of heavy, industrial and chemical manufacturing equipment.Assisting with installation and modification projects.Contributing to projects in manufacturing, including continuous improvement and safety projects.Your Background:The ideal candidate for this role will haveA level 3 apprenticeship in mechanical, electrical or maintenance engineering.Strong maintenance experience gained in a manufacturing environment.Expert knowledge of pneumatic and hydraulic systems.Knowledge of electrical maintenance and calibration is very desirable.Our client can offer great training amongst a skilled team, so can consider applicants from other industries as long if they are willing to learn.Apply: It is essential that applicants hold entitlement to work in the UK.
