Position

We are seeking an experienced New Business Sales Manager to join our Agency services team. We are new business experts. With a methodology crafted over 20 years of helping agencies attract and win new business from brands, we use our mastery of the craft to provide end-to-end business development services to more than 150 agencies across the UK.


Your role will be focused on developing and nurturing relationships with agencies, working to understand their ambitions and their barriers to growth and positioning our broad range of business development services. Working against a new business target, and working deals generated through both inbound enquiries and your own personal outbound activity to find, qualify and close new sales opportunities in line with our go-to-market strategy.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Owning and delivering to a sales target, focussing on delivering new monthly recurring revenue into the business by selling our range of Agency services to new and existing clients
  • Own and manage a number of new business opportunities, proactively qualifying prospects at every stage of the sales journey
  • Supporting the development of new pipeline through personal outreach and networking across the marketing space
  • Feeding into the overall Group go-to-market plan, understanding and informing our overall sales and marketing strategy
  • Providing accurate sales forecasts and proactively managing through our CRM
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for major accounts and ensure their needs are met.
  • Analyse sales data and trends to forecast revenue and develop actionable insights.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports to senior management



About you


We’re looking for someone who really understands agencies and who really understands new business. You’ll be developing relationships and selling to agencies of all sizes and across a broad range of specialisms. Day-to-day, you’ll deal with a range of people from Senior New Business, Sales & Marketing leaders to agency owners, CEOs and boards. You’ll need to be passionate about the craft, and be just as able to talk about growth challenges across the entire agency spectrum.


Suitable candidates will:

  • Have strong previous sales experience, with a good understanding of the entire sales lifecycle and the ability to self-manage progress against a target, with a self-directed understanding of how to track and manage progress
  • Have previous experience of selling to agencies and an understanding of the specific needs and buying habits of agencies of different sizes, from owner-operated businesses to network agencies
  • A passion for the craft of new business, particularly for the value of the top-of-funnel new business activity
  • A creative, problem-solving, solution sales mindset focussed on understanding the specific needs of a prospect, and crafting appropriate solutions from a toolkit of products
  • Have a natural interest in marketing, and an appreciation of the different roles played by the parties in the marketing ecosystem
