Full time Monday - Friday 23 days AL £12.11 ph Car Parking Facilities About your next employer You will actively participate in the daily operation of the Catering Service under the direction of the Curriculum Manager including cash handling duties. Team participation is essential to provide an efficient hygienic service, to achieve customer satisfaction and to promote sales within the unit. What you'll do The basic preparation of food and beverages including the preparation of vegetables and snacks. Using appropriate equipment. Simple cooking including the reconstitution of prepared food. Organisation and control of food service points. Recording of temperatures for control purposes as required. Securing of premises as required. The correct care and maintenance of the cash register. Correct programming procedures and updating of prices. About you Essential: Applicants must have GCSE Maths grade A - C or equivalent. Proven ability to demonstrate the effective use of resources. Proven ability to maintain safe working practices whilst complying with Health & Safety & Hygiene Regulations Ability to work and communicate effectively both orally to stakeholders. Ability to be enthuse and motivate self. Proven experience of the operation and cleaning of machinery, hand tools and / or equipment. Desirable: Applicants must have GCSE English Language grade A - C or equivalent. Level 2 or equivalent in Catering Food Hygiene Certificate or willing to complete it.
