Early Years PractitionerGylemuir Primary SchoolSalary: £29,173 - £33,287 Hours: 36 per week, 52 weeks per (4 Shift patterns to cover Monday to Friday 0800-1800) The applicant must be eligible for registration (without conditions) with the SSSC as a Practitioner in Day Care of Children.The candidate must have a practice qualification as noted in the attached job profile.At Gylemuir Primary School our early years provision is open 52 weeks per year for children aged 2-5 years. We have capacity for 150 children across our 2 year hub and two nursery rooms. We are committed to providing an excellent early years' experience, based on mutual respect, partnership, participation and fun. We are looking to recruit one full-time, passionate and driven Early Years Practitioners to join our existing nursery teamThe successful applicant must demonstrate experience in forming good relationships with children, parents, staff and the wider community. Through the recruitment process, they will need to demonstrate enthusiasm, energy, commitment, initiative, optimism and flexibility to their work.This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check.
