Orka Financial is currently seeking an experienced Finance Assistant to join their clients established finance team a leading Manufacturing business based in Basingstoke. This is a hands-on role ideal for an individual who enjoys a broad range of duties and is confident liaising at all levels across the business building good customer relations.The Finance Assistant will be supporting the day-to-day finance transactions including Sales Leger and Credit Control duties. This role would suit an individual currently studying towards AAT.Key Responsibilities:Perform daily bank reconciliations ensuring accuracy and timely resolution of discrepanciesProcessing supplier invoices preparing payment runs and handling supplier queriesAssist with implementing new finance processesRaising sales invoices credit control and allocating paymentsCredit control dutiesBank reconciliations (Multi currencies)Assist with month-end processes including journal postings and reconciliationsWeekly reporting of sales ordersMaintain accurate and up-to-date financial recordsLiaise with internal departments and external stakeholders as neededSupport the wider finance with ad hoc finance tasks and reportingSkills & Experience:Previous experience in a similar Finance Assistant roleStrong understanding of finance processesExcellent attention to detailProficient in bank reconciliations and general ledger workExperience using accounting softwareIntermediate Excel skillsQualifications:Studying towards or fully qualified inAAT(or equivalent)For further information please contact or call Key Skills Data Entry,Financial Services,Debits & Credits,Math,QuickBooks,Accounting,Office Experience,Securities Law,Microsoft Excel,Administrative Experience,negotiation,Bookkeeping Employment Type : Full-Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 32000 - 36000
