CAD Technician - Hybrid & Flexible WorkingRole: CAD Technician Location: Guildford (with hybrid & flexible working Salary: Up to £38,000 + Private Medical + PackageAre you looking for a role where your technical skills make a real impact?We have an excellent opportunity for a CAD Technician to join a leading EPC Engineering Team delivering complex projects from concept through to commissioning.About the OrganisationThis is a well-established & fast growing Engineering Business with a strong reputation for delivering technically challenging projects across multiple sites. The engineering function is central to its success, combining mechanical and process engineering principles with practical problem-solving to ensure projects are delivered to the highest standards. You will work closely with project managers and engineers, gaining exposure to design, construction and commissioning activities while contributing to projects that make a lasting difference.The CAD Technician RoleYou will be involved in projects from planning through to handover, producing and managing drawings, supporting project documentation and contributing to engineering solutions that improve efficiency and reliability. This is a hands-on role where you will work across multiple disciplines and learn from experienced engineers.Key Responsibilities of the CAD Technician: Carry out and document site surveysProduce and update planning and layout drawings plus P&IDsManage drawing compliance and issue registersReview and supervise drawings from contractorsSupport project managers with contract documentation and construction deliverablesWhat We're Looking ForProficiency in AutoCAD for 2D layouts and P&IDsExperience with 3D modelling (SolidWorks, AutoCAD 3D or similar)Knowledge of point cloud surveys and 3D data managementDegree or apprenticeship in engineering and experience in project environmentsStrong MS Office skillsWhat's On Offer for this CAD Technician RoleHybrid and flexible working arrangements25 days holiday plus bank holidaysPension scheme with matched contributionsPrivate medical cover after probationLife assurance and health cash planCareer development support including mentoring and professional registrationLocationBased in Guildford with occasional site visits.Commutable from Woking, Farnborough, Reading, Crawley, Basingstoke and surrounding areas (around 60 minutes' drive).
