Building Services TechnicianLocation: Travel to sites across Central & Greater LondonHours: 40 hours per week Monday - FridaySalary: Upto 40000Position OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled and qualified Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our Facilities Management team for one of our prestigious clients in Central London. You will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation safety and compliance of all electrical systems on site.Key ResponsibilitiesFacility Maintenance Perform and complete Planned Preventive Maintenance (weekly monthly PPM) tasks ensuring all building systems function optimally Owning maintenance service requests from submission to completion and feeding back to the client and Facilities Management team. The first line of response for all associated M&E and Fabric issues Maintain records and computer based record management systems to agreed standards including statutory testing and inspection technical records files diaries drawings and reports Support H&S Inductions/Permit arrangements to enable subcontractors to undertake routine and emergency breakdown maintenance both in and out of hours Support and manage subcontractors carrying out routine and emergency breakdown maintenance. Ensure that RAMS are appropriate and contractors are complying with them at all times. Check and verify all work has been completed Support the Facilities Manager with additional tasks such as Projects H&S etcHandyman ServicesAssemble install and repair furniture fixtures and equipmentHandle minor carpentry painting and drywall repairsTroubleshoot and fix general maintenance issues to ensure the smooth operation of the facilitySafety and SecurityImplement safety protocols and procedures to maintain a secure working environmentRespond to emergency maintenance requests and incidents promptlyCollaborate with the facilities team to address any safety concernsVendor ManagementCoordinate with external vendors for specialized repairs or servicesMonitor vendor performance and ensure timely completion of workQualifications and ExperienceProven experience as a handyman or workspace technicianStrong knowledge of general maintenance tasks including electrical plumbing and HVAC systemsProficient in the use of hand and power toolsBasic carpentry and painting skillsAbility to troubleshoot and solve problems independentlyExcellent organizational and time-management skillsGood computer skillsKnowledge of BMS/CAFM system a plusStrong communication and interpersonal skills Key Skills Academics,Catering,Baking,Insurance Sales,Business Support,Broadcast Employment Type : Full Time Experience: years Vacancy: 1 Yearly Salary Salary: 35000 - 40000
