If so, we want to hear from youAbout the Role:We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEMH Children's Mentor to join a school in Radcliffe, Bury. The successful candidate will work closely with students who may have SEMH (Social, Emotional, and Mental Health) needs or behavioural challenges, providing 1:1 and group support to help them manage their behaviour and engage positively in their education. This is a full time role, Monday to Friday 8:30 -3:30pm.Key Responsibilities: * Provide tailored behavioural support to students in line with their individual needs. * Work collaboratively with teaching staff, pastoral teams, and parents to develop strategies that promote positive behaviour and academic engagement. * Implement de-escalation techniques and behaviour management strategies to support students in crisis. * Build positive relationships with students, acting as a role model and mentor to encourage personal growth.Requirements: * Previous experience working with students who display challenging behaviour, SEMH, or SEN. * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Ability to build rapport with students and work as part of a team. * Strong behaviour management and de-escalation skills. * A proactive, patient, and resilient attitude.TO APPLY: Please send an up to date CV
