Join our client as they continue to evolve and support their Electrical, Control & Instrumentation systems across the fleet. We're looking for an EC&I Technician with strong technical skills and experience in CCGT or large-scale process industries. This is a key role within their engineering function, supporting critical infrastructure and contributing to strategic projects.Key ResponsibilitiesEnsure high standards of housekeeping and safety. Comply with statutory requirements, including Health & Safety at Work Act and Environmental Protection Act. Prepare and manage contracts in support of station operations. Act as Competent Person or Authorised Person under Safety Rules, ensuring safety from the system. Deliver service and maintenance best practices. Supervise contractors and personnel during plant overhauls. Apply a proactive and creative approach to fault diagnosis and problem solving. Support and deliver Process Safety KPIs. Contribute to business and station objectives. Assist in budget and cost management. Undertake procurement activities, including technical specification development. Participate in major and interim inspections and overhauls, managing contracts and contractors. Perform hands-on maintenance on EC&I equipment and systems. Maintain effective interfaces with suppliers, contractors, and other stakeholders. Communicate clearly and concisely, including producing written reports.What We're Looking ForExperience in CCGT plant maintenance or large-scale process industry. HNC qualification. Computer literacy. Working knowledge of health, safety, and environmental legislation. IOSH Managing Safely qualification (desirable). Strong team working skills. Knowledge of budgets and contract management. Understanding of safe working principles and relevant legislation. Results-driven with a desire to develop professionally. Self-motivated and flexible.
