Art Teacher Sought for Reputable Secondary School in Lambeth

We are delighted to partner with a highlyregarded secondary school in Lambeth that is committed to providing a wellrounded education for its students. They are seeking a passionate and inspiring Art Teacher to join their dedicated Art department in a fulltime permanent capacity.

Position Overview

The successful candidate will be instrumental in fostering creativity and artistic expression in students across Key Stages 3 4 and 5. This role involves cultivating a dynamic and engaging learning environment where students can explore various art forms develop their technical skills and cultivate a lifelong appreciation for the visual arts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design and deliver inspiring art lessons that align with the national curriculum and the schools educational ethos.
  • Create a stimulating classroom atmosphere that promotes student engagement experimentation and critical thinking.
  • Assess and monitor student progress providing constructive feedback to facilitate individual artistic growth.
  • Collaborate effectively with colleagues within the Art department and across the school to enrich the learning experience.
  • Stay abreast of current pedagogical approaches and developments in art education.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • A Bachelors degree or higher in Art Art Education or a related field.
  • Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent teaching qualification.
  • Demonstrated experience teaching Art at the secondary level.
