SAP PP Consultant - West Midlands, UK (Hybrid: 50% Remote work / 50% Onsite). Start Date: August/September 2024. Permanent (in-house) Job. Salary Indication ~ £ 80,000/Annum Base Salary + Benefits. End Client.


Our end client, who is a world leader in the production and discrete manufacturing sector with over 100 years of history, is looking to hire an experienced SAP PP (Production Planning) Consultant, to take a key role in the roll-out of PP to new locations globally within ECC before moving to SAP S/4HANA.


Experience needed:

* 5 years’ relevant experience

* Minimum 1 full implementation cycle with the SAP PP Module

* A willingness to learn SAP MM (Materials Management) and SAP WM (Warehouse Management)

* A good understanding of master data within the PP/MM area

* You can develop and execute LSMW in order to update and create master data

* Knowledge and understanding of the business process and interface to other modules like FI/CO and SD

* Excellent communication skills in English, you can bring a message clear and on point.

* Travelling is expected to be 3 days every 3-4 weeks within Europe, but will need longer trips to Brazil and Australia during UAT testing and Go-Lives (2 trips per project).


The role will involve:

* Understanding business needs and take a leading role in making SAP a strategic business solution for the group

* Advise and support the internal customers in making the best choices for deploying SAP to support their processes

* Play a key role in our SAP projects nationally and internationally

* Work closely with the production and supply chain teams in Europe

* Analyze and optimize the current business processes to our business needs

* Develop and support current ECC6 SAP system within the PP/MM/WM modules, this includes support, change requests and play a big role on international projects (PP skills are needed, MM/WM are nice to have - but can be picked up on the job).

* Create and update the requested documentation, processes and policies.

* Perform gap analysis and find / close the gap between As-Is and To-Be processes

* Organize and responsible for training and education
