Weve come a long way join us in the next step of our incredible journeyWhat are we looking forWe are looking for a proactive and highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our high-value medium-volumemanufacturing operation. This role focuses heavily on advanced problem-solving root cause analysis and drivingcontinuous improvement addition you will play a pivotal role in mentoring and developing junior quality engineers helping to build a strong quality team capable of sustaining excellence in product performance andcompliance. The successful candidate will be responsible for helping to establish and embed a culture of quality across all levels of the business.Responsibilities Lead complex root cause analysis and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) processes using structured problem-solving tools (8D 5 Whys Ishikawa DMAIC).Develop refine and implement quality plans inspection procedures and control methods to support medium-volume production runs of high-value products.Oversee product quality during manufacturing ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer requirements.Act as a key resource for troubleshooting and resolving quality issues both on the production floor and in the field.Drive continuous improvement projects focused on reducing defects improving yields and enhancing process capability.Mentor coach and train junior quality engineers and inspectors to enhance their technical skills and problem-solving capabilities.Conduct regular quality audits lead supplier quality management efforts and manage customer quality concerns and audits.Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of quality records reports and data analysis to support traceability and compliance.Communicate quality performance and improvement plans effectively with senior management and cross-functional teams.About YouKnowledge and ExperienceBachelors degree or HNC in Engineering Quality Management or a related field.5 years of quality engineering experience in a high-value medium-volume manufacturing environment.Proven expertise in structured problem-solving techniques and quality improvement methodologies (Six Sigma Lean 8D).Experience in mentoring and developing junior engineers or quality technicians.Strong knowledge of quality standards and systems such as ISO 9001.Proficiency with quality tools and software: FMEA SPC MSA Control Plans statistical analysis (Minitab or similar).Excellent communication leadership and interpersonal skills.Skills and AbilitiesAbility to lead changeStrong analytical problem solving and numerical skills data drivenCompliance and Risk AwarenessEffective organisation skillsConfident and credible with strong communication skills at all levels of the business including cross functional teamsEnjoys and excels working in a fast-paced manufacturing environmentMust be driven with a demonstrable commercial outlook and financially astuteThe ability to make important decisions and cope with demanding targets and tight deadlinesA high level of attention to detailStrong leadership presence and the ability to present to executive audiencesWhat We OfferThe opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology in a rapidly growing industry within a dynamic environment where you can shape the future of energy and work with a team thats actively addressing global climate challenges.
