The new Pricing Analyst requirement is a reflection of the team's success and continued growth across commercial lines of business. They are looking for a background in statistics, data science or actuarial science, along with a strong competency in both Python and SQL.

This role is a perfect next step for an analytical thinker, who is keen to work in an innovative division within a successful business. You'll have the opportunity to work with multiple business units, surrounded by industry experts within your immediate team.

Responsibilities

  • Research and propose new pricing techniques
  • Explore and develop new rating engines, factors and tools
  • New product development in close collaboration with underwriters
  • Work closely with Data Engineer and Scientists within the team on workflow automation
  • Leverage wider team's data and analytics capabilities to drive new solutions

Requirements

  • Experience in Commercial lines pricing
  • Strong ability in Python and SQL including analysis in Notebooks
  • Desire for continuous learning on new technologies and modelling techniques
  • Team-player mentality with extensive collaboration
  • Ability to communicate technical practices to non-technical colleagues and stakeholders
