Mealtime Assistant

We are seeking to appoint aMealtime Assistantat Furzeham Primary & Nursery Schoolto stimulate and engage our children in exciting play and games at lunchtime whilst maintaining their safety. A willingness to work as part of a team and seek positive solutions is essential.In this vital role you will be at the heart of our school community encouraging imaginative play promoting positive behaviour and ensuring the wellbeing of every child during their midday break.What you will be doing:For a full list of responsibilities please see the attached job descriptionTo be able to supervise pupils in the dining areasEnsure good standards of behaviour by the pupils; are maintainedAssist with associated ancillary duties (e.g. cleaning up spillages ensuring tables are clean etc).Provide welfare support to the pupils of the school including undertaking first aid duties (depending on training)Attend appropriate training sessions in order to increase knowledge and skillsPlease note this is a fixed term contract for 12 months with a possibility of extension.About YouAbout UsAt Furzeham Primary and Nursery School we are a welcoming inclusive community focused on unlocking every childs potential.
