Reporting to: Senior IT Manager


Job Summary:

We are seeking a talented and motivated Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to join our team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will play a critical role in designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic environment, contributing to innovative projects and ensuring our cloud systems are robust, scalable, and secure.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Infrastructure Design: Design and deploy scalable, reliable, and secure cloud infrastructure solutions.
  • Implementation and Deployment: Manage the implementation of cloud-based applications and services, ensuring they meet performance and security requirements.
  • Automation: Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using tools such as Terraform and CloudFormation.
  • Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor cloud infrastructure performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement optimizations.
  • Security and Compliance: Ensure cloud environments comply with security policies and industry standards.
  • Support and Maintenance: Provide support for cloud infrastructure, including troubleshooting issues and performing regular maintenance.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with development, operations, and security teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud services.
  • Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for cloud infrastructure and processes.


Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering.
  • Proficiency in cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
  • Strong knowledge of infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation).
  • Experience with containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified SysOps Administrator, Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator) are a plus.
