Job Vacancy: Maintenance Assistant at Foxhills Collection

Are you a hands-on individual with a knack for fixing things and keeping facilities in top condition? Foxhills Collection is currently seeking a dedicated Multi-trade Maintenance Assistant to join our team and play a key role in maintaining and enhancing the resort.

Type: Full-time

Set across 400 acres of stunning countryside with a 19th-century manor house at the heart of the estate, the resort is home to an unrivalled array of leisure facilities which include 66 bedrooms & suites; three restaurants including two AA Rosette cuisine; five swimming pools (including three outdoor); three golf courses (two 18-hole championship and one nine-hole); tennis, padel and pickleball courts; spa; gym; Yoga Cabin; fitness, spin & art studios; soft play, adventure playground, crche, games room, as well as a selection of meeting, conference, wedding and event spaces.

Responsibilities:

  • Completion of general building maintenance including installation, fault-finding and repairs.
  • Basic joinery, partition walls, doors and windows.
  • Basic masonry work, fixing tiles, slabs and stones
  • Plumbing duties, sink and toilet assembly, wase and drainage, copper and push fit fittings.
  • Electrical work - electrics of sockets, heaters, lighting etc., supporting in the preparation and first fix, under the supervision of an electrician.
  • Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergencies to ensure the safety and comfort of guests and staff
  • Collaborate with other departments to support the overall operation of the establishment
  • The ability to deliver exceptional levels of customer service.

Requirements:

  • A recognised qualification or apprenticeship in a relevant trade, such as electrical work or plumbing.
  • Knowledge of L8, Health & Safety and Fire Safety.
  • Experience in a multi-trade role would be advantageous.
  • Ability to operate hand and power tools safely and effectively
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
