We are looking to recruit a Qualified Social Worker - Children in Need within the Social Care industry in Haringey.Responsibilities include:Ability to undertake complex social work assessmentsExperience of formulating support, protection and care plansAbility to negotiate with colleagues and partner agencies to resolve differences of opinionAbility to build effective, long lasting relationships with a range of service providers both from statutory and voluntary agenciesDetailed knowledge of the Children's Act 1989Detailed knowledge of the "Framework for the Assessment of Children and Their Families"Attending court and giving evidence when requiredInitiating and implementing child protection plansManaging packages of careUndertaking parenting and risk assessments Experience preferred:Post qualifying experience of working within a statutory Children in Need or Child Protection Team within the UK Social Care industry.
