Excel Recruitment is looking for Temporary Chefs to join our team and work in a variety of businesses in and around Belfast City Centre for an immediate start. This is a great option for those in the industry to gain a great work-life balance, work in various areas with shifts that offer great flexibility and further career opportunities. With many shifts offering Monday-Friday daytime hours this is an opportunity to move away from long days and nights, while still earning a great wage. Chef/Cook Requirements Minimum 1 year of experience preparing and cooking in a fast-paced kitchen HACCP & Manual Handling cert (Excel can supply this is needed) Available for various shifts, which may include evenings & weekends Good time management skills As cook, you will have knowledge of all food safety guidelines Good level of spoken & written English Driver - preferred but not essential Chef/Cook Responsibilities Working in a busy kitchen following the Head Chefs instructions Work on your own section ensuring it is fully set for service Always cook food to the highest standard As Chef you will need to follow your supervisor's instructions Consistently keep yourself and your work area in the kitchen clean Minimise waste Stock control of food items in your section according to specifications Follow all health & safety as well as food safety guidelines Benefits Weekly pay £14.50 p/h Flexible work shifts Overtime opportunities Accrued holiday pay Work closely with our Hospitality consultant If you are interested in knowing more about our Temporary Chef positions or would like to apply please apply below or contact #BELFHOS Skills: Chef HACCP MH Culinary experience Food hygiene and safety relief work
