The Role Optimise machining processes to increase capacity and machine availability, improve OEE, and reduce cycle time and scrap rate? Create and maintain tool management system, ensuring tooling availability for manufacturing process; set and maintain tooling as required Investigate problems relating to fixtures and tooling to optimise efficiency? Create and edit CNC programs; edit functions on machining centres? Perform minor maintenance on machining centres? Optimise and edit robot programs to ensure repeatability in process and reduce cycle times?? Develop machining cell layout for existing and new cell Assist with the development and implementation of new products Participate in info sharing, team working and Continuous Improvement Programmes. Who we're looking for: Degree / HND in Mechanical Engineering or similar subject Able to read and understand engineering drawings Strong analytical and problem-solving skills IT literate Good communication skills, both oral and written? Good presentation and negotiation skills?
