Senior Events Marketing Manager – International B2B Financial Conferences
This role is hybrid, with c2 days per week in the Central London office (or more if you prefer)
NB - you must have 3+ years of B2B Events Marketing experience to be considered for this role
This is an exciting opportunity to join an exciting and fast growing B2B financial conferences and events business as a Senior Events Marketing Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing successful marketing campaigns for a high-value global portfolio of international Conferences & Events, within the Global Financial sector.
Requirements:
- Ideally 3+ years of B2B Events marketing experience (conferences and/or awards), preferably within financial or professional services (or any other B2B) industries
- Email marketing skills (ideally Pardot or Marketo)
- Good copywriting and design skills (Canva / Adobe)
- Track record of successfully designing and delivering multi-channel marketing campaigns
- Working knowledge of Excel and Google Analytics
- Experience in the commercialization of events including launch events
- Ability to work closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectives
- Thorough knowledge of customer analytics and ability to convert data into meaningful insight
- Experience managing and developing high-performing marketing plans/projects. With complete post event/project reporting.
- Experience in digital marketing techniques and channels
- A proven record of testing, measuring and evaluating marketing channels to optimise spend and demonstrate ROI
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate performance metrics, challenges and opportunities to the team
Reporting to the Event Director, you will be:
- Execute and deliver effective marketing campaigns for four Award ceremonies and two large conferences, with a focus on digital channels such as social media and email marketing
- Manage and control the marketing budget for each event campaign
- Oversee the creation of high-quality brand and campaign assets, working with in-house and external designers
- Build and manage databases, ensuring to keep data up to date, targeted and relevant for every event campaign
- Design and execute sophisticated content marketing campaigns that promote brand awareness that strengthen client relationships
- Manage a telesales campaign to ensure that delegate revenue targets are met
- Create weekly marketing reports and delegate revenue forecasting reports
- Work closely with sales and align marketing strategy to commercial objectives
- Liaise with the event operations team to ensure the correct on-site marketing deliverables
- Work with customer service to ensure a seamless customer experience on-site
- Keep events and awards websites up to date with relevant and accurate event information
- Utilise the database to keep up with market trends relevant to the event programme
