Purpose of role:The main purpose of this role will be to proactively engage with freeholders, landlords, managing agents and land agents in a professional and persuasive manner negotiating wayleave and access agreements from third party grantors to install apparatus within private land and Multi dwelling buildings on behalf of our clients.Duties and Key Responsibilities (Day to day requirements and Smart Objectives) * Identify and communicate, with prospective grantors using standard templates and/or drafting appropriately worded correspondence to progress access and wayleave agreement applications * Negotiate wayleave agreements as required by our clients in respect of delivering Fibre services * Interpret drawings and plans to extract relevant information * Interrogate land registry and other information sources to establish land or property ownership * Forge strong relations with internal and external teams & third parties including Local Authority agencies * Review Client leases and agree/reject Wayleave Applications for sites within Client owned compounds * Be responsible for monitoring and reporting on progress on wayleave acquisitionQualifications and Experience needed for role:Essential: * GCSE or equivalent Math’s and English * Must have prior experience working within the key requirements of this roleDesirable * Experience within the telecoms or utilities sector * Driving licenseSkills & Knowledge criteria:Essential: * Excellent interpersonal and communication skills * Strong negotiation and influencing skills * Highly organised with a strong attention to detail * IT systems competency, including Microsoft ApplicationsDesirable: * Awareness of The Electronic Communications Code
