Main Tasks - Engineering Manager,

  • Leading and coordinating the engineering department for the site 
  • Identify opportunities for process improvements, technological advancements, and operational efficiencies within the engineering department.
  • Manage department budgets, allocate resources efficiently, and optimise project timelines.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to the engineering team, addressing complex challenges and ensuring best practices are followed
  • Ensure all engineering activities comply with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

What our client is looking for in an Engineering Manager:

  • Qualified to degree level in Engineering – ESSENTIAL
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in an engineering leadership or managerial role – ESSENTIAL
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and make critical decisions under pressure.
  • Experience with change management, resource allocation, and team development - ESSENTIAL 
  • Knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement methodologies.
