Workpack Engineer

Due to an increase in workload, Global E&C have requirements for experienced Workpack Engineers. These are fulltime positions based out of our office in Aberdeen. We have requirements for candidates with Electrical, Structural/Piping, and Instruments/Control discipline experience.


Your regular duties will include:

  • Preparation of Construction Workpacks and associated certification within budget and schedule.
  • Interfacing with construction and engineering disciplines to obtain design deliverables.
  • Ensuring that assigned work is completed within budget and schedule.
  • Maintaining project plan and provide progress updates for assigned scopes.
  • Maintaining project scope/schedule change(s) in accordance with project change control process (as required in conjunction with Lead or Principal Engineer/Designer).


To be successful in this role, you should be able to demonstrate:

  • Previous experience in the Oil & Gas industry with experience/familiarity of GOC/Certification, QA/QC, Piping and Structural standards, Planning and Scheduling, Construction and Fabrication activities.
  • Prior exposure to direction and organisation of discipline teams within repair order, minor modification and project environments.
  • Exposure to commercial, contractual, and administrative aspects of Engineering.
  • Experience of multi-discipline design activities and deliverables.
  • Competency in quality control and engineering procedures.
  • Excellent attention to detail, diligence, and self-discipline.
