Quantity Surveyor

Our client are a versatile Main Contractor that specialises in new build and refurbishment projects valued up to £3m. They deliver a wide range of projects across multiple sectors including commercial, healthcare, leisure, education, and industrial.They are now recruiting for a Quantity Surveyor / Estimator to join their business.Duties and responsibilities to include:Responsible for the production of tenders, budget estimates and cost plans.Review of bid documents, drawings, specifications, and other reports applying a good understanding of all components of a tender submission.Identify any financial, design, production, and contractual risks/opportunities.Measure quantities and produce Bills of Quantities and/or oversee their production by others.Ensures enquiries are issued and quotations received from subcontractors and suppliers.Cost control and value management strategies.Monthly forecasts, CVRs, and Profit & Loss statementsOversee the commercial aspects of the projectManage cash flow.Manage subcontractor payments.Provide guidance on contractual issues.Variation Account and forecast final accounts.Apply: If you're interested in this opportunity, then please get in touch today with our Commercial Specialist Mark Harris, or apply with your CV.Building Careers UK specialises in Construction and Property recruitment and serves as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
