Key Responsibilities:

  • Work closely with senior English teachers to deliver engaging and effective lessons
  • Offer individualised support to students to boost their English grades
  • Encourage all students to reach their full potential, fostering a passion for literature and language
  • Utilize your English degree to assist with classroom management, activity planning, and maintaining a positive learning atmosphere
  • Contribute to the development of teaching materials that support student progress with English
 

Essential Requirements:

  • A 2:1 or higher degree in English from a Russell Group University
  • Strong A-level results, preferably in English or related subjects (e.g. Humanities)
  • Experience working with children is highly desirable
  • Excellent communication skills and an honest enthusiasm for teaching
