Job Title: Dock Levellers/ Loading Bay Engineer
Location: Oxfordshire
Salary: Up to £17 per hour (depending on experience)

Are you an experienced engineer with a background in dock leveller, loading bay, and scissor lifts engineering? We are seeking a skilled and motivated engineer to join our growing team in or around Oxfordshire.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Install, repair, and maintain industrial dock levelers, scissor lifts, loading bays, and associated equipment.
  2. Carry out site surveys and ensure work meets company and client specifications.
  3. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to dock levelers, loading bays, scissor lifts, and shutters during installation or maintenance.
  4. Provide excellent customer service while working on-site, ensuring all health and safety standards are met.
  5. Work closely with internal staff to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.

Requirements:

  1. Proven experience in the installation and maintenance of dock levelers, scissor lifts, loading bays, or similar hydraulic/pneumatic engineering sectors.
  2. Strong knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
  3. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  4. Full UK driving license.
  5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  6. Health and safety awareness, with the ability to work in line with company safety procedures.

Desirable:

  1. Experience working in the industrial or commercial sector.
  2. CSCS card (or equivalent).
  3. Previous experience in customer-facing roles.

  2. Paid travel, overtime, and callout (overtime rates very competitive).
  3. 2% commission paid on all quotes.
