We are supporting a very fast growing Tech-based business with the recruitment of a brand-new Head of Finance role on an exclusive basis.

The business is looking to grow at least fivefold over the next 2-3 years and they are seeking a qualified and talented Head of Finance to drive the business forward. You will be supporting the directors and Shareholders as a business partner and by creating robust processes and ensuring financial reporting is provided accurately and in a timely manner.

They are seeking someone who is comfortable in a fast-paced sales business who ideally has some tech / telecoms experience (perhaps from audit) or experience of complex revenue recognition from a services led business.

Responsibilities:

  • Monthly management accounts (P&L, BS, C Flow, commentary)
  • Business KPIs / metrics
  • VAT/PAYE reporting and compliance
  • Budgeting and forecasting (P&L monthly)
  • Complex revenue recognition and reporting
  • Inventory reporting and controls
  • Cash management oversight
  • Business control environment
  • Manage the Finance Assistant (remotely)

About you:

We’re seeking a qualified (ACA / ACCA /ACMA) professional who offers hands on experience within a SME environment and is seeking an opportunity to add value and be part of a fast-growing business.

The role will evolve so candidates should be adaptable and be excited by the opportunities to make significant improvements. 

The Head of Finance should be able to make an impact, put in new processes and  be comfortable managing upwards and dealing with and supporting senior shareholders.

Candidates will ideally have experience of telecoms / tech or experience of complex revenue recognition from a services led business and be inquisitive in nature.

Strong Excel skills are a must, as are good communication skills and candidates should be confident yet approachable.
