We bring together the talent and enthusiasm of our multicultural multilingual staff and provide a stimulating learning-based environment for all.Find out more about our story: this job This is an entry-level Policy Analyst role suitable for candidates completing a Masters degree or with up to two years of relevant work experience in consulting government or related agencies.You will support project managers across all our thematic areas to deliver studies evaluations and impact assessments. The role requires a good understanding of the policy environment and knowledge of UK and/or EU policy topics aligned to our core areas of business.The successful candidate will contribute to policy studies and evaluations in line with advances in research methods and evolving government guidelines for evidence-based policymaking. Your profileYou must have:An academic background in a relevant subject at Masters level or aboveAn affinity with one or more of the policy areas in which we work and knowledge of current developments in the fieldA good command of qualitative and/or quantitative evaluation methodsHighly computer literate (e.g. MS Office statistics packages)The ability to write well and to a professional standard in English.Self-motivation intellectual curiosity and an ability to work independently and across different disciplinesA willingness to travel and work within multidisciplinary international teamsOther desirable attributes include:Proficiency in using statistical analysis softwareStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and multi-task and work under strict deadlinesClient relationship skillsExcellent oral communication skillsYour responsibilitiesDutiesSupport project managers as part of a teamDesign data collection toolsCollection and analysis of quantitative and qualitative dataInterpret and apply key results from analysisContribute to writing of study reportsSupport colleagues in their delivery of workEnsure individual assignments are delivered to planOur offer In addition to the dynamism of the business and the intellectual challenge of our project work we offer a number ofbenefits to our staff.
