Folder Gluer - Corrugated PackagingSalary- Dependant on experienceLocation - West BromwichHours - Day & Night shift available (minimum 40 hours per week)Company - Established in 2007, this is one of the UKs leading suppliers of corrugated packagingOverview - Corrugated Packaging Business seeks a highly skilled Glue OperatorKey responsibilities-Make ready corrugated packagingRun folder gluing machine - Bobst Vision Fold 160 and Vega AltairAbility to problem solve and monitor own quality control measuresEnsure smooth day-to-day running of machinery and productsExcellent team working and communication skillsParticipate in continuous development and trainingExcellent housekeeping and operator maintenance practicesRequirements-You must have proven experience in the Print & Packaging IndustryMust have have experience of running a folder gluing machineIdeally operated a Bobst Vision Fold 160 or Vega Altair, alternative experience will be consideredYou will need to be used to working under pressure in order to meet deadlines and be able to demonstrate a self motivated and focused approachPreferably have previous experience of print finishingBeing able to work well within a team and as an individual.Ability to prioritise multiple tasks and work under strict timescalesAbility to remain calm under pressureConfident and enthusiastic with a desire to learn and develop through continuous trainingGood communication skillsStrong interpersonal and organisational skillsOrganised, methodical and logical approach to workAble and willing to do overtime during busy periods.
