What youll doThis is an excellent opportunity to enhance your current skill base and join us as a Complex Care Assistant. You will have full training and clinical support to develop and enhance skills in various complex areas such as tracheotomy ventilation seizure management and stoma care plus so much more We care for and support people of all ages in the community and in their homes with Spinal Cord injury Muscular dystrophy acquired brain injuries and many other complex needs. Every day will be different. And youll never know what challenges youre about to face next. One thing you can be sure of though is that youll be making your clients days brighter whilst developing your skills and knowledge.You will be supporting a bright friendly and engaging 34-year-old woman who is adjusting to life following a spinal cord injury. She has a close-knit family and two sisters who know her best and who are closely involved in her care.Before her injury she worked as a fully qualified Veterinary Nurse and still has a deep love for animals. She shares her home with her much-loved cat Albus and enjoys spending time with him. She has a passion for houseplants and finds joy in keeping them thriving. She is also an enthusiastic reader always with a book on the go. Prior to her injury she loved dancing keeping fit and walking her dog.She is looking for a compassionate reliable carer to join her established care package as soon as possible. This is a great opportunity to work with someone who is warm appreciative and engagingoffering a rewarding and supportive care environment.Qualifications : What youll needExperience in Bowel Management is essential.
