Health and Safety Cluster AdvisorSarum Road Hospital37.5 Hours & PermanentSalary: Up to 40000.00 per year (depending on level of experience training and qualification)We have an opportunity for a Health and Safety Cluster Advisor to join their team of staff in theHealth & Safetydepartment.This is a full- time role for 37.5 hours a week. The role holder will be required tocover a flexible shift pattern based in Winchester covering six sites located between Poole Dorchester Bath Swindon and Carmarthen.Duties of this role include:You give clear advice to Senior Management Teams (SMTs) in your cluster of sites on compliance with obligations under applicable legislation guidance and policies and actively assist and support with its implementation.You can help demonstrate an appropriate level of compliance with relevant health and safety standards to CHGs regulators i.e. the CQC HIS HIW HSE EA local government agents and other stakeholders as required.You effectively collaborate and communicate with the HSCL on meeting objectives to improve health and safety performance consistency and compliance across your shared cluster sites.You cooperate and coordinate in achieving the designated H&S time allocation (attendance) for each site in your cluster with the HSCL.You assist in identifying and sharing lessons learned following incidents in your cluster of sitesYou contribute where required to corporate projects and initiatives e.g. CHG policies and procedural development research training etc. You escalate intolerable H&S risks to the Operational Manager/Director and make practicable recommendations for improvementApplicants should meet the following criteria:3 years minimum experience in Operational Health & SafetyLevel 3 qualification in H&S ManagementH&S professional registration (IOSH) or willingness to apply for professional registration.Fire safety skills.Competency as a Risk Assessor.Contractor safety management skills.RCA / Incident investigation skills.Experience undertaking audits.Salary & BenefitsCircle Health Group is committed to offering competitive starting salaries and access to a wide range of employee benefits including:25 days holiday per year bank holidays increasing to 30 days with servicePrivate Pension SchemePrivate Healthcare Scheme for treatment at our hospitals covering pre-existing medical conditionsFriends & Family Hospital DiscountsFamily Friendly policies including enhanced Maternity Paternity & Adoption payNon-contributory life insuranceStaff engagement hub with access to discounts and extensive rewards and voluntary benefitsAccess to resources tools and services to support your wellbeingEmployee recognition programmesIndustry leading training and development opportunitiesand much moreCircle Health Group is committed to creating a diverse workforce offering inclusive opportunities for all our colleagues.
