We’re looking for a Quality Control Manager in Herefordshire to lead the quality function and ensure all products meet the highest possible standards with a engineering manufacturer supplying high-performance technology to customers in the UK and overseas.As a Quality Control Manager you willtake ownership of all aspects of product and process quality. You’ll maintain and improve the Quality Management System (QMS), lead a small and capable team, and work closely with both suppliers and customers to ensure issues are quickly identified, resolved, and prevented.This is a hands-on role where you’ll have real influence — shaping processes, leading audits, and driving continuous improvement across the business.What You’ll Do As A Quality Control ManagerManage and develop the company’s ISO 9001 Quality Management SystemLead and mentor a small quality team, promoting high standards and engagementPlan and oversee internal and external auditsInvestigate quality issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement corrective actionsOversee inspection processes for materials and finished productsWork closely with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to maintain strong quality relationshipsSupport compliance with other standards such as ISO 45001, ISO 14001, and ISO 27001Champion continuous improvement and a strong quality culture across the businessWhat We’re Looking For In A Quality Control ManagerRight to work in the UK (NATO nationality required)Eligible for BPSS clearance (with potential for SC clearance)Minimum 10 years’ experience in quality management within electronics or a similar manufacturing environmentStrong knowledge of ISO 9001 and related standardsSkilled in root cause analysis, FMEA, SPC, and 8D problem-solvingExcellent communication and leadership skillsHands-on experience coaching production teams in soldering or rework (advantageous)Proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvementFull UK driving licenceIf you are interested in the Quality Control Manager in Herefordshire, apply today
