Overall Purpose of The Role: Due to unprecedented growth over the past 12 months we are seeking to extend our NPD team with the following: Job Tasks and Duties: Project manage the implementation of customer projects into the factory Lead the implementation of NPD into the factory with the customer, through scale up to first production Lead the implementation of EPD & change projects (margin, complexity, etc) into the factory with the customer Manage the critical path for launches with key timelines for hitting retailer deadlines Lead the running of all factory trials for the customer, being the key leader on the line to ensure all deliverables met for the project. You will lead the management of trials including dates, production set up, ingredient availability, line team briefing Manage the implementation of new processes into the factory - not limited to new equipment, new mixing processes, new ingredients, new packaging, new documentation Manage the transition of new products into the factory - training the line leaders on how to make new products and creation of factory standards for new processes brought to factory Leading the creation and delivery into production of QAS with the customer and the quality team Work with specification team (Hughes NPD) to implement new specifications for the factory Management of packaging Leads the communication with key stakeholders in Hughes business on new products and product changes Skills Hands on experience in factory environment Project management experience Processing and packaging knowledge a benefit Experience training factory personnel and implementing processes SH management and strong communication skills Hands on problem solving to make things happen Skills: NPD Process Technologist Process Technologist NPD
