Express Recruitment are delighted to be representing a Control Systems Solutions Provider that drive innovation and diversity whilst being pioneers of control system and environment solutions. They are looking for a Engineer to join their growing team.


Their ideal candidate will have considerable experience and a strong knowledge of control systems and automated systems. Due to providing on-site testing and commissioning for clients, the role will require a full, clean UK Driving Licence.


In return, they are offering up to c£60,000 per annum D.O.E. along with a very generous benefits package including flexible working hours (see below in Vacancy Summary) and holidays, paid birthday off, an employee wellbeing program, and more


Roles and Responsibilities


  • Design control systems
  • Develop and implement SCADA systems and PLC code
  • Prepare documents ready for clients and engineers
  • Travel on-site to commission and test control systems
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, engineering best practices, and industry regulations
  • Liaise with clients, team members, and management at multiple levels
  • Provide end user training


Skills and Experience


  • Strong technical knowledge of control systems, instrumentation, and automated systems
  • Demonstrable Engineering experience including instilling best practices and following industry regulations
  • Considerable experience working with control systems in an industrial environment
  • Strong communication abilities, both written and verbally, including being able to communicate with clients, team members, and management at all levels
  • Full, clean UK Driving Licence

Vacancy Summary


Hours: 40 hours a week. Mandatory working periods:

  • Monday – Thursday 9:30am – 4:00pm
  • Friday 9:30am – 1:00pm


Salary: Up to c£60,000 per annum D.O.E


Location: Derby,Derbyshire


Job Type: Full Time, Permanent
